The see saw kit includes:
Once built, the see saw is 30 inches wide and can be ordered to be built 12 or 16 feet long. The see saw is fun to use! The ends of the see saw rise up about a foot off the ground and your horse will feel how his weight shifts the piece. This moving obstacle creates another opportunity to build trust, confidence and communication as you and your horse play with the see saw The see saw balances on a pivot, challenging your horse to step onto an object that moves in reaction to them. This see saw is 30 inches wide, and either 12 or 16 feet long and raises up about a foot. The 12 and 16 foot see saw will support two horse one on each end. It make for a great time. In addition it is a great exercise in standing and trust. The hardwood base is covered with all-weather non-slip rubber matting to ensure your horse’s footing and extend the life of the piece. The balance beam kit includes:
The balance beam when completed is only 18 inches wide and is our most challenging element. It’s narrow width challenges all horses to carry their feet narrower than normal to walk across it. The balance beam is also versatile and can be used from the side as a jump or obstacle for you horse to walk over forwards or sideways. The balance beam element presents a special challenge because it is narrow enough that most horses have to carry their feet narrower than normal to walk across the beam. The balance beam is placed on a sturdy base that is sunk 4 feet into the ground to give it stability. It is covered with all-weather, non-slip rubber matting to ensure your horse’s footing and to extend the life of the piece.
