The horse wash is unique because it challenges your horse to go under the obstacle rather than over.
The outside single pass-though provides a single column of pressure and the challenge of a moveable wall; however it works best as a lie detector between you and your horse. It allows your horse to walk away from the column of pressure or step out of the moveable wall. Things you may not want to happen in competition or on the trail. In addition, it also provides an incredible amount of beginner, intermediate and advanced communication skills.
The inside pass-through provides two columns of pressure (from both sides of the horse) and the obstacle of a moveable wall - providing the rider opportunities for both forward and reverse motion pressure through a seaming narrow passage.
Try asking your horse to move their head in and out of each one of the moveable strips, or sidestepping, backing up, turning into or cantering through the strips. How about asking your horse to turn in circles and only asking that their back end go in and out of the strips? These suggestions and many more will help the beginner to expert in any discipline whether you are on the ground with lead at liberty, English, Western, professional, amateur or my favorite - the weekend horse person. This product will improve your communication and trust with your friend.
As with all permanent installations, the horse wash can be customized to fit your location and needs.
